Ride

　　星期五的應景歌曲當然不是這首，但星期五的下午，放空的腦袋裡總是會響起這首歌。



Ride - Twisterella
　　Ride是80年代眾多Shoegaze團裡我最喜歡的樂團，除了有Shoegaze團慣有的迷離音牆外，Ride更多時候是讓人感覺彈著吉他在唱歌。雖然這樣的音樂多半注重在聲音的重疊表現上，但Ride用兩把吉他讓歌曲多了更多旋律，如果My Bloody Valentine是粉紅色的迷霧空間，Ride就像是天微亮時被晨霧籠罩的一片草原，給人更多綠中帶白的青春之感。

　　以Mark Gardener與Andy Bell(現在Oasis的Bass手)為主的Ride，成立於1988年，並在發了四張專輯後，因為兩人想發展的音樂類型不同，而在1996年解散。解散之後，Andy Bell先後加入了Hurricane#1與Oasis，而Mark Gardener與Loz Colbert一開始加入了The Animalhouse，卻因為種種原因解散之後，Mark開始發展個人事業，並先後出了一張Live錄音作品(2004)與一張個人專輯(These Beautiful Ghosts, 2005)，有興趣的人可以看我朋友寫的介紹。

　　附贈1994年專輯Smile推出時，一段訪問與Unplugged表演，Shoegaze的時代已經過去，現在我們剩下的只有美好回憶。（我可以假裝現在Mark的禿頭只是大型美人尖嗎？哈。）
